DOJO
The Daily Practice of Aïkido

Mougins, France  –  2013-2025

Aikido (合気道) is a Japanese martial art. It aims to use the strenght of the opponent against him in a non-violent way.
Its learning, which can start at all ages, is based on the repetition of movements called “technics”.
Its efficience, aesthetic as well as the absence of competition makes it a unique discipline practiced worldwide.
The following series is a personal account shot over a decade of practice at the Aikido Club of Mougins ︎︎︎
I would like to thank Denis Drogy Senseï and Takanori Kuribayashi Shihan for their trust over the years.
