ANATOLIA
The Other Asia

Istanbul,  Antalya,  Çıralı,  Pamukkale  –  2024

At the crossroad of the Mediterranean, the Black Sea and the Caucasus, Anatolia is the region occupying most of Turkey’s territory.
Its unique location between Europe and Asia made it a land of choice for the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires to settle.
The region, commonly referred to as Minor Asia, may however be closer to Southeast Asia than one could think.
Its geography, customs and faith, may indeed recall great scenes of the imaginary surrounding the Far East.
